Day 3: Glencoe

Glencoe offers some of the most stunning and dramatic scenery in the Scottish Highlands, but it hides a dark past. The small village here was the setting for a massacre in 1692 when 38 members of the Clan MacDonald of Glencoe were killed by soldiers under Archibald Campbell, 10th earl of Argyll, who was acting on behalf of King William III.
