Potkay’s Joyous Triumph!
Professor Adam Potkay’s recent book The Story of Joy has been named co-winner of the Harry Levin Prize awarded by the American Comparative Literature Association for best book in literary history or criticism. A professor at the College of William and Mary for over twenty years, Potkay’s scholarship has also been recognized in other prestigious ways: he is the recipient of a Plumeri Award for Faculty Excellence and was recently named William R. Keenan Professor of Humanities . Professor Potkay will lead Fell Walking with the Romantic Poets, an Active Scholar Sojourn, in the English Lake District this August. More….
