This is truly an insider’s tour. The team from Gordon’s gains us access to venues and locations not open to the typical visitor. Their inimitable knowledge of and passion for Scotch Whisky come alive as they guide us through a series of nosing and tasting sessions that help us appreciate the nuanced differences in malts from distillery to distillery and region to region. We begin each morning with an informal briefing, preparing us for the days’ activities, which typically include distillery visits and (of course!) tastings. In total, we visit 14 distilleries in four, main whisky-producing regions – The Highlands, The Lowlands, Islay, and Speyside. This expansive tour allows us to take in the dramatic and varied Scottish landscape and truly appreciate the inextricable ties between the land and the Scotch produced from it.

Although this sojourn offers an abundance of guided experiences, participants also have time to sightsee and to explore on their own. The combination of these experiences, interwoven with the sheer beauty of the Scottish landscape and the hospitality of the Scottish people, make each day anything but typical!
