Join us from October 16-23 to explore over 20 of the most historic and celebrated fortresses in English history on The Great Castles of Britain tour. Led by noted castle historian and author Paul Remfry, who shares his expert knowledge and personal anecdotes along the way, you will discover that the history of these architectural marvels is indelibly linked to the history of England itself.

From October 23-31, Scholarly Sojourns travels north of the border into the atmospheric settings of Scotland on our Scotch Whisky in Depth tour. Led by Ronnie Berri, Whisky Ambassador for the Scotch Whisky Experience and a fully-accredited blue badge guide, you will visit over 20 celebrated distilleries in the four main whisky-producing regions of Scotland (The Lowlands, The Highlands, Speyside, and Islay) all the while sampling varieties of this extraordinary spirit known to Scots as “the water of life.”
