Castle Stalker

Appin, Scotland

Castle Stalker is a stunning, medieval tower house resting upon a tidal islet on Loch Laich. Its name comes from the Gaelic word Stalcaire, meaning “hunter” or “falconer”. Originally constructed in the early 14th Century, it has been painstakingly restored by the family that has owned it since the 1960’s.
