A Traditional Inn and a London Classic Provide Stunning Backdrops for this Sojourn….

Together these two fine hotels highlight the best of British hospitality. One is a historic inn; the other a masterpiece of art deco design. Both offer an unparalleled level of service.

    The Falcon Hotel
A 16th Century Inn Ideally located in the heart of Stratford-upon-Avon, the Falcon hotel makes a perfect base from which to explore Shakespeare.  Indeed Shakespeare himself would have been familiar with this historic structure, surely passing by it regularly when he lived in the town.  The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance to all of our sojourn activities.  Each of the rooms has been painstakingly renovated to ensure 21st century comfort while retaining all the historic charm and character a property of this age can offer.  The hotel also offers plenty of space to relax and unwind. The Merlin Lounge boasts an open fire and the oak bar is a traditional pub featuring real ales.  The one-rosette accredited Wills Restaurant offers fantastic contemporary British and international cuisine.

    The Park Lane Hotel
Overlooking Green Park and facing toward Buckingham Palace, the Park Lane is arguably the finest example of Art Deco architecture in London.  It was a modern marvel at the time it construction in 1920 – the first hotel in London to offer en suite facilities in each of its bedrooms.  Today those wonderfully updated rooms and suites reflect all the civility of the posh Mayfair neighborhood which surrounds the hotel.  At the heart of the property is the renowned Palm Court, which provides the most glamorous of settings for taking Afternoon Tea. The famous Silver Gallery has been used as a backdrop for many period film and television productions such as Brideshead Revisited and The House of Eliott.
